Veronika Dorosheva is a Berlin-based stylist. Her work is influenced by both high fashion and underground subcultures, merging mainstream trends with trends that swim against them, and we wanted her website to reflect that. We created several layouts which are adjusted to the various media formats of her work, yet which maintain a magazine feel. While the website remains clean and image-focused, small subversive elements such as the increasingly distorted logo and bold project numbers add a necessary disruption.
Studio August is a fashion brand based in Estonia built upon minimalism, comfort, and practicality. Our goal was to make their website’s form follow function. Using Shopify, the clean, vertical navigation of the e-shop upholds the brand’s value for style and functionality, but their Collections page is where comfort enters. Every piece is visible without scrolling, and an enlarged view opens on the same page by hovering the cursor over an image, making the user experience much more enjoyable.
Nicoletti is an itinerant art gallery. To capture the movement of the project, its website centers around the total distance, measured in kilometres, that every artwork had to travel to reach its exhibition. We also created a custom font that removes the dot over every ‘i’, and in exchange we offered a single traveling dot, resembling a pin on a map, as a means to locate the visitor within the site.
