Annika Wirken is a jewelry designer from Antwerp. After designing her logo, we created a site which shares her values of purity and craftsmanship, using a clean design that puts all the focus on her work. The site also reflects her experimental way of using common materials to create unconventional pieces, by using a common site navigation but flipping it unconventionally on its side.
Seku Bi, which means “parrot” in Wolof, is a boutique hotel in Dakar, Senegal. To make the website mirror the atmosphere of the space, the site’s backdrop is a painting from the same artist whose work appears in the hotel. To create dream-like ambience, we decided to ask the photographer to digitally altere the photos to create impossible scenes.
Anthony Coleman is an art director based in New York. His vision takes inspiration from rave culture of the ‘80s and ‘90s, and his website reflects that frenzied energy. With no menu, only the name and project number to let you know where you are, finding and clicking on “Information” becomes intuitive. The website offers a loud aesthetic, but one which still allows the work to be viewed in silence by simply moving the mouse to the middle of the screen; all noise fades away.
